Medication Administration for RN and RPN

This is a 30-hour-course given in lecture format. The course places special emphasis on what the “body distinctly does” to the drugs (pharmacokinetics) and what the drugs “do to the body” (pharmacodynamics). The course underlines the contextual application of RHPA 1991 and the nursing process in medication administration. The CNO medication guidelines are included in the course.

 

 

Pr-requisite:

CNO registration is required and/or the participant is in the process of attaining CNO registration as RN/RPN.
